Half broken landscapes, half broken cameras, finding beauty in a world on the mend and out of control.

CKG is pleased to announce an exhibition of new photographic prints by Calgary-based artist Bryce Krynski. This new body of work challenges our notions of how photography is made, embracing the process - no matter how rudimentary - as well as the completely random and unknown images that were a product of the happenstance. The resutling photographs are immensely curious and often mezmerizing explorations of landscape.

The artist sums it up with this statement -

"Reflecting on themes of self-care, repair, kintsugi, letting go, tied fates, shared futures, and the Dadaist mantra of 'giving a chance a chance'. All of the images in this series were shot on film with toy and plastic medium format cameras, featuring richly chromatic tones underpinned by a willful lack of control over technical elements and a lo-fi aesthetic."

This exhibition is in conjunction with The Exposure Photography Festival.
