Christine Klassen Gallery is pleased to present Ripple, a pairing of two concurrent solo exhibitions.
Working in painting and sculpture, respectively, Godenir and MacDonald explore the idea of ripple through pattern, repetition, and material process. Godenir’s paintings unfold through layered geometries and intuitive shifts in colour and form, while MacDonald’s sculptural works evolve through a process of accumulation, balance, and subtle variation in material.
Presented as two distinct bodies of work under a shared title, Ripple considers how small actions extend outward—how forms build, echo, and transform over time.
