A Calgary art fixture since 2007, the Christine Klassen Gallery / CKG, represents a dynamic group of artists, from emerging to established, united in their craft-intensive approach to art-making.

Located in a 4600 sq ft mid-century warehouse in the up-and-coming Manchester Industrial area, the gallery showcases a wide range of artworks including painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, photography and other media formats through innovative projects and exhibitions.

A few things about CKG -

    • ALL are welcome here. Even dogs!
    • There are no stupid questions.
    • You are welcome to just have a look. No purchase is necessary to appreciate great art.
    • We would love to introduce you to the artists we represent.
    • New to collecting? No problem. We are happy to guide you through the process. Everyone needs to start somewhere, right?
    • With artworks starting at $250 we have art to fit any budget.

  • THE TEAM

  • YES, WE DO THAT!

    • We would LOVE to deliver and install your new artwork for you! If you live in the Calgary area we are happy to extend this service to you. And if your installation requires multiple people, ladders and/or special hardware we work with an installer who can handle it all.

    • Need to get the art a bit further than YYC? We offer packaging and shipping options to pretty much anywhere you need to ship art.

    • Would you prefer to split your purchase into payments? No problem. We will help you purchase that artwork you want before someone else snags it. No financing charges will be applied, but, we will hold onto the artwork until it is paid in full.

    • Do you want/need help with rearranging the art in your home? Or maybe you moved and are not sure where everything should go in the new home. Christine has many years of experience assisting clients placing and installing art collections.

    • Not on the list? Reach out. We may be able to assist you, or if not, we will help point you in the right direction.

CKG acknowledges the traditional lands and territories of the Indigenous peoples who have lived on these lands and taken care of them since time immemorial. CKG is situated on Treaty 7 territory – the traditional and ancestral territory of Siksikaitsitapi – the Blackfoot Confederacy, which includes the Kainai Nation, Piikani Nation, Amskapi Piikani, and the Siksika Nation. Treaty 7 is also home to the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Stoney Nakoda, and is within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland known as the Battle River Territory. We acknowledge and give gratitude to the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We acknowledge the Traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders, both past and present, and are grateful for their contributions that helped keep this land beautiful. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation.
